Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Repliary processes when you use the website and Chrome extension.
Information you choose to process
Repliary reads page content only after your consent and an explicit request to load or refresh it. Translation sends your input, target language and optional translation requirements to Repliary and MiniMax. Reply generation sends source content, required reply ideas, target language, tone, length and optional reply requirements. Back-translation sends the generated result and its translation language only when you request it. Selecting, typing or pasting text alone does not send it to the AI service.
Request-content retention
The legacy reply API does not persist request or result text in the application database. New expression builds keep encrypted results for retry recovery: results can be retrieved for 24 hours, and expired ciphertext is removed by periodic cleanup. This prevents retrying an interrupted request from using another credit. Original input text is not stored in this cache; operation identifiers, request hashes and completion status remain to prevent duplicate charges. This cache is not a cloud learning history. MiniMax processes request content to provide the requested AI output and may process service and safety data under its own privacy and service terms.
Learning history
Learning history, including the selected text, translation, final reply, back-translation, platform, and source URL when available, is stored only in chrome.storage.local on your device. You can delete individual records or clear all records. Uninstalling the extension removes local records.
Installation and service data
We retain a pseudonymous installation identifier, signed session state, plan status, monthly quota usage, and aggregate service performance information. Repliary application logs do not contain request text. Cloudflare may process network identifiers such as IP address, request headers, and security logs to deliver and protect the website and API.
Website analytics
Our website uses Google Analytics 4, provided by Google, to measure website visits, traffic sources and page interactions. Google processes browser and device information, identifiers and usage events for this purpose. This website tag is not installed in the Chrome extension and does not send your selected text, reply ideas, generated replies or local learning history. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled in our tag configuration. Google's privacy policy is available at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
Payments and subscriptions
Dodo Payments is our merchant of record and processes checkout, payment methods, taxes, refunds, and subscription management under its own privacy terms. Repliary does not receive full card numbers or security codes. We retain only the purchase email when supplied by Dodo, Dodo customer and subscription identifiers, product identifier, subscription status, renewal date, and limited webhook audit metadata needed to provide and support paid access.
AI provider and international processing
Translation and generation content is processed by MiniMax in the People’s Republic of China to provide the requested output. Repliary does not train its own models on request content. MiniMax processes information under its own privacy and service terms.
Chrome permissions
Repliary requests website access to Reddit, X (including twitter.com), and YouTube at installation so you can read selected content from the side panel without repeatedly granting access. Page-reading code runs only after you accept the in-product disclosure and open or refresh the extension. On other websites, activeTab provides temporary access when you invoke the extension. The scripting permission runs packaged page-reading code, and api.repliary.com access connects to our service. Storage keeps your consent choice, preferences, pseudonymous session, and learning history locally. Clipboard access supports only the user-initiated Copy action. Side Panel displays the interface beside the current page.
Chrome Web Store Limited Use
Repliary’s use of information received from Chrome APIs complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Retention
Translation and generation request content is not stored in Repliary's application database. Local learning history remains until you delete it, clear extension data, or uninstall the extension. Installation, quota, and entitlement records are retained while needed to provide the service, prevent abuse, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and support transactions. Limited webhook audit records exclude request content and full payment details.
Operator
Repliary is independently developed, owned, and operated by Rong Zhang, an individual operator based in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China.
Feedback
When you submit feedback, we store your description, email address, extension version, installation user identifier, submission time and processing status to investigate and respond. Feedback does not automatically include webpage text or learning history and is not sent to the AI provider. Feedback descriptions, contact emails, extension versions and submission times are processed by Resend to send support notifications to our support mailbox and its forwarding destination. We also retain notification status and the email service message identifier for troubleshooting. The current extension requires an email address for feedback; older versions may omit it. It is used only to contact you about your feedback. Feedback is retained while needed to resolve and follow up on the issue; you can request deletion through our privacy contact.
Your choices
You may request access or deletion by emailing privacy@repliary.com. We acknowledge valid requests within three business days and generally complete them within 30 calendar days.
