Install and choose text
Install from the Chrome Web Store
Open Repliary’s store listing in desktop Chrome and follow Chrome’s installation prompts. Review the requested permissions. Pin the extension if you want easier access to its side panel.
Read the first-use disclosure
When opening the extension for the first time, read the data-processing disclosure before continuing. The supported-site permissions help Repliary read context when you deliberately open or refresh it; a translation or generation request sends the necessary text for AI processing.
Choose Translate or Reply
Choose Translate for your own text; no webpage selection is needed. Choose Reply to respond to someone else: select a public post or comment, open or refresh Repliary, and check the source. Paste the relevant text manually if capture fails.
Translate your own text
- Choose Translate and type or paste what you want to say.
- Choose the target language. Add optional translation requirements if needed.
- Select Translate, review the result and edit before copying.
You do not need another person’s comment for this mode. A same-language result copied unchanged without an AI request is free; applying translation requirements can require an AI request.
Draft a contextual reply
- Choose Reply and load or paste the other person’s content.
- Enter your reply ideas in your own language. Choose a reply language, tone and length; add optional requirements if useful.
- Generate, review and edit the draft. Request a back-translation separately if you need to check its meaning.
The interface language can be changed from the header independently of your output language.
The free plan includes 10 one-time AI credits. Each AI translation or reply generation uses 1 credit. Optional back-translation generation uses 1 additional credit; viewing an existing translation is free. Pro includes 100 credits per month. See pricing and plan details.
Copy, publish and review
Edit the translated text or reply, copy it, and paste it into the correct conversation yourself. Check the destination and the final wording before pressing the platform’s publish button. Copying in Repliary does not publish anything.
Copying generated results saves them locally by default, subject to existing saved preferences. Back-translation is optional. Check Learning history after copying; you can search, review, copy and delete records. Records have no count cap or cloud sync.

Troubleshooting
- The selected text did not appear
- Make sure you are on the intended tab and have selected the exact passage. Open or refresh the panel and inspect the source. If capture still fails, paste the text manually. Reddit, X/Twitter and YouTube support is Beta.
- The draft answers the wrong point
- Check the source text and add specific reply ideas in your own language. Include enough context to identify the question, without unrelated conversation. Edit the result before copying.
- The request is slow or fails
- Wait for the current request to finish or show an error. Check the message and your network before retrying. If the problem persists, contact support with the error message and platform; do not send private conversation text unnecessarily.
- My credits decreased after translation
- Standalone translation uses 1 credit. Generating afterward uses another credit. The free 10 credits are one-time; they do not refresh monthly.
- I cannot find a saved reply
- Editing a generated result does not prevent saving, and back-translation is not required. Check for a storage error, whether an existing preference has disabled automatic saving, and whether you are using the same Chrome profile and device. New records do not automatically remove older ones. It does not sync, and uninstalling or clearing extension data can remove it.
